Okta is an Identity Provider that can be used as a Data Source integration. Data Source integrations are used during investigations to improve analysis and in interactive chat to help answer questions. They are optional, but enabling more tooling integrations enhances Dropzone analysis.
The Dropzone AI Platform integrates with Okta to query organizational data such as logins and applicaiton access.
To enable these integrations you will perform the following actions:
Create a Read Only Administrator responsible for the API key
Create an API Key
Enable the Dropzone Data Source Integration
To set up the Read Only Administrator, do the following:
In the banner on the left hand side of the Okta home page, navigate to Directory > People
Select the user you wish to have Read Only Administrator privilege
Navigate to the Admin roles tab and click "Add individual admin privileges"
In the Role drop-down menu, select "Read Only Administrator"
Click "Save Changes"
To obtain an API Key, do the following:
Log into Okta as the Read Only Administrator that was just created
In the banner on the left hand side, navigate to Security > API
Navigate to Tokens, and then click "Create Token"
Name the token something easy to remember, such as Dropzone-AI
In the zone marked "API calls made with this token must originate from", select "Any IP"
Click "Create Token"
Record the "Token Value" for use later in the Dropzone UI where it is called "API key"
To enable the Data Source integration, do the following:
Navigate to your Dropzone AI tenant home page e.g. https://mycompany.dropzone.ai
Click System > Integrations
Click "Data Sources" in the top left corner
Find the Okta tile and click "Connect"
Input your Okta domain and the API key
Click "Test & Save"
